Chateau de Chambord Vintage Look Birthday Card

This card is a special request for a American gentleman who will be traveling to France and celebrating his wife's birthday while they're here. They'll be visiting the chateaux of the Loire and he wanted a card with a chateau. This is an image from an old book I have called Histoire de France. This is the Chateau de Chambord, a very famous, breathtakingly beautiful chateau—a must if you're visiting the chateaux in the Loire valley.

I opted to keep the card relatively flat so that it would be less likely to be damaged in luggage. I added a fleur de lys charm on a silk cord to give it an elegant touch, without adding too much bulk. I've used Papermania Capsule Collection Parisienne Blue papers (these are so pretty and look so French).

Material
Paper—Papermania Capsule Collection Parisienne Blue paper pack (PMA 160217), cardstock
Topper—Le Chateau de Chambord vintage ephemera from my collection
Embellishments—silk cord, charm
Font—Alex Brush
